Early Life
Julia Vins is a female powerlifter and social media influencer who rose to fame for her powerful skills, yet feminine appearance. She garnered the nickname “Muscle Barbie” due to her attractive appearance, but massive size. She was born in Kostanai, Ekaterinburg, Engels, in Russia, in 1996.

At an early age, Vins actually had no interest in fitness. While in school, she studied music, and arts, without any real aspirations for athletics. However, at the age of 12, she discovered weightlifting, which she started doing with the intent to get in shape, and gain self confidence. Subsequently, she started falling in love with fitness, enjoying the changes she was seeing in her body.

For her first year of training, Julia Vins did so without any sort of real guidance. Therefore, she sought out a coach to help her develop her physique. However, the only coach that she could find, was one who would teach her powerlifting or kettlebell training. Subsequently, she chose the former, starting her endeavors in the powerlifting world.

Julia went on to compete in various competitions throughout Russia and Europe. In 2016, she secured another World Championship title in Russia. Additionally, she participated in multiple events in Finland, consistently earning first place in each. One of her most notable achievements was at the 2018 Pro Powerlifting Open, where she once again dominated the competition.

Julia Vins – Training Regimen
Initially, Julia Vins trained sporadically as she began her journey into powerlifting. However, after partnering with a coach, she adopted a more rigorous training regimen. She is now known for her intense gym sessions and typically trains five days a week, with a strong emphasis on her legs and triceps. Here is a breakdown of her typical weekly workout routine.

When it comes to her diet, Julia Vins likes to keep things fairly strict. Although she does allow herself one cheat meal a week, to reward herself for the hard work. She typically consumes five meals a day. However, she does adjust her diet for when she is in competition, or out of the competition.

Julia Vins believes that consuming around 3,000 kilocalories per day is ideal for building lean muscle. Her daily diet typically includes about 150 grams of protein, sourced from foods like chicken, egg whites, and fish, as she considers protein to be the most crucial part of her diet.
Regarding macronutrients, Vins avoids fast-acting carbohydrates, preferring instead slow-releasing foods such as sweet potatoes and brown rice. This approach helps her maximize the benefits of her nutrition.
